Christmastime, and Dr. Mick Mulligan have just arrived at her childhood home after a five-year absence. She's determined to help her mother, Leona, care for the house she grew in and resolved to adjust to life back in Connecticut. After the childhood loss of her father, Mick proclaimed herself a "Hambug." Mick is happier in an operating room than gathering around the christmas tree.
